The manage portion of our school counseling framework is meant for data analysis. We analyze the data gathered in order to help meet the needs of the students, whether it be educational or social.
Focus of my program
As your school counselor, I prioritize direct and indirect services to students. I also ensure that I am in my office as much as possible to allow walk-ins. This is to ensure the students can see me when they need me. My goal is to spend 80% of my time serving students
As your school counselor, I manage my time through a planner, calendar, and I analyze the time I spend with students by recording and analyzing how much time I spend providing direct and indirect services a month to ensure most of my time is given to the students.
Method of planning for Students
In order to understand the needs of our students, we analyze the data that has been collected from the previous school years so that we may plan our goals for the future. We collect data through assessments so that we can know the needs of the students and meet them to the best of our abilities.
