Aloha! I am Mr. Abela, and I am your counselor at Hono'uli'uli Middle school! I was born on Oahu Hawai'i, and I was raised in Mililani. I got my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at George Fox University. I am in pursuit of my master's degree in school counseling at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. 

I have two years of experience working in education as a counselor at Hono'uli'uli middle school. I know I don't have a lot of experience, but I am eager to learn what I need to in order to be a great counselor and I will continue to better myself to be the best school counselor I can be for my students. My heart is for the children for they are the future of the world. 

When I am not counseling or doing schoolwork I enjoy spending time outside. Whether it be at the beach, golfing, fishing, or playing football.
