Assess
The school counseling department at Hono'uli'uli Middle school is dedicated to providing the best school counseling services we can offer. In order to do so, we assess our program annually. We gather information and data to find out what we are doing well in and what we need to improve. We also review programs and policies that are in place at our school to determine revisions and improvements for the betterment of the students.

We assess what programs and what lessons have yielded the best results and which ones didn't do so well so that we know what to drop and what to focus on improving.
We also assess policies that are in place and determine whether any of them need to be revised, improved, or if they need to be taken out of our school all together.
Our school counseling department comes up with short-term and long-term goals to better our program, policies, and our school as a whole.
